When connecting with spirit, the first information they impress is about their physicality and personality. This is the confirmation process. When you acknowledge these descriptors, the communication opens up and they talk about their life. It is the same with each and every spirit. They first thing they convey is about their looks and character.
It’s always exciting when I am asked to tune into an animal as I am a huge animal lover myself. Animals communicate in the same manner as humans. Spirit is spirit. A soul is a soul. It is also proof positive that language isn’t necessary to communicate in any form.
Recently in a reading I was asked if I could tune in to a beautiful white labrador retriever named Gracie, and she came through very strong as she described first herself, her personality, and then her life while she was here on earth.
“Can I ask you, is Arnold with her?” My client asked.
“Sure!” I said and waited for Arnold to show up. “Ok, Arnold is telling me he’s a beagle…”
“Yes, he is! He's half beagle…” she replied. After she said that he showed me was actually an all black dog.
“He’s beagle and what?” I asked to which she replied black lab which explained to me why I was looking at this short legged all black dog, but I knew undoubtedly it was Arnold.
I tuned into Arnold’s energy to see what else he wanted to communicate about himself.
“Ok, this might sound strange, so bear with me here, but it's the only way I can put it into English words... Arnold is like a gangster.” I told her very flat-out. “He is a tough guy. Not just kind of tough, but like...a badass. He’s a gangster. You DO NOT mess with him.” I told her.
“Oh my gosh, yes he is. That is his personality to a tee.” she said with a huge smile on her face. “And not only that, we used to call him our little thug.”
“That’s hilarious,” I said and we both had a laugh. “That makes sense why he conveyed that he’s a gangster, that’s something you would understand and I’m so glad that makes sense to you! Ok, that is him, hold on,” I said and tuned back into him.
He told me more about his personality and who he was as a dog.
“Um, he’s got a Napoleon complex, you know, short man's syndrome...he’s got issues about being small. He hated that. He had to always be in charge to make up for it. He ruled the roost and was kind of a jerk about it...” I said.
“Oh my gosh... you are 100% correct. That is most definitely him. He had issues. He was always bossing Gracie around and making sure she knew he was in charge. But he was my Arnie, my boy. I loved him so much.” She said and smiled.
We had a lovely visit with her dogs and a couple of human spirits.
‘That’s quite an amazing gift you have there,” she told me later when she was leaving.
I humbly accept the praise and am grateful for it’s validating for myself in my work, but it’s not just me who’s working, it’s spirit. It’s a back and forth communication where spirit knows exactly what you need to hear. Every time.
