I end all Medium readings with a parting message from spirit, and I also thank them for being with us. They like it. In physical life you would never end a conversation without a salutation, so why would you just end it without one when communicating with spirit? That is my reasoning. Occasionally spirit will direct messages towards me, and within that I'm commended for my manners. I love that.

Albeit trivial, some messages are simply what you need to hear, such as; take your allergy medicine, buy some food for the fridge, start playing your guitar again, call your Mother, start believing in yourself more, you need new tires, propose to your girlfriend, trim the shrubs, take yourself to the spa, go on vacation, talk to me, talk to the creator, forgive yourself, meditate, eat fresh, etc. When spirit communicates trivialities such as ‘you need new tires’, it’s because you do.
In that particular reading, my client said “Are you serious, that's my parting message? I DO need new tires but geez, ok… I guess he hasn't changed much!” She saw it as trivial, but I saw it as spirit loving her dearly and being concerned for her welfare and safety. When I explained that viewpoint she took it to heart and said “Ok thank you. I'm going to get new tires tomorrow.”
I was finishing up a phone reading for a lovely woman in New England and asked if she had any more questions, and if not, I was ready to retrieve a parting message.
I tuned into her Mother whom we had been communicating with and asked her for her parting message.
“I AM the stars in the sky.” She impressed on me very conversationally. Most spirit communication is with symbols, pictures, and telepathy, but some spirits sporadically are able to speak in a sentence type structure and I 'hear' them, although not audibly.
“Your Mom wants you to know that she's the stars in the sky…” I relayed to her.
No response. I thought maybe she didn't understand what she meant or thought I was just saying that for whatever reason so I explained in detail.
“The way your Mom says it is that she IS the stars in the sky. She put the emphasis on AM. Saying, ‘I AM the stars in the sky.’ She wants you to know that.” I told her.
I heard a sniffle through the phone.
“Wow. That's incredible.” She said and began to tell me why. “When my Mother passed, my sister and I walked out of the hospital, and right then walking through the parking lot I saw a bright shooting star. ‘That's Mom’ I told my sister and she agreed. To know that confirmation is amazing. Thank you so much and thank you, Mom!”
