Occasionally spirits will interject in the conversation, and when it happens it is very clear and very quick, and I repeat it just as I hear it immediately. The times when people tell me I sound like their loved ones with the phrasing of my words or the inflection of my voice are the times when I am repeating these interjections.
A lovely British woman wished to connect with an old love, someone she had a very fun, passionate relationship with, and someone she had not seen for a very long time. Halfway through the reading, she asked if she could excuse herself to use the loo.
"Dan said he's coming with you", I told her as she got up.
She stopped at looked at me with suspicion. "Did he really say that?" she asked.
"Yes, he did." I assured her.
She threw her head back and laughed a very hearty laugh. She had never told anyone that 30 years prior the loo at the club they used to frequent was a secret rendezvous spot for them. Now, she says it's ok if everyone knows.
"I hope I have my lace knickers on," she quipped.
